Amy Downs Trunk Show Recap

Last Thursday night, we had a great turnout for the Amy Downs Trunk Show. Everyone had a great time finding their perfect hat and Amy Downs was on hand to offer advice and style tips. So many hats found the perfect home! And I would be remiss not to mention that wine was enjoyed (in abundance by yours truly!) from The Little Green Grocer.

I am happy to report that Amy Downs has agreed to do another Trunk Show in the future, so stay tuned! If you missed the party, you can see several of Amy's hats by going to our website.

The Pearl District's "Big Reveal" this Holiday Season

I remember a time when amazing window displays ushered in the holiday season. It's almost a lost art, so I was very excited when the Pearl Business Association proposed a mass unveiling of holiday windows. Rest assured, there is a lot of friendly competition among the retailers and restaurants to see who can outdo whom. I know I've thrown down the gauntlet to a few of my boutique friends!

On the Saturday after Thanksgiving, over 70 (yes, SEVENTY) businesses will unveil their fabulously creative holiday windows to the public.

So, if you are in need of a little festive spirit, we hope you'll come down to the Pearl. Lots of other holiday activities are in store, so stay posted!

We don't carry prints very often in the shop, but when we find one we like, we fall HARD for it. The autumnal colors of this dress are perfect for the season. We have a thin, guazy weight wool tee that looks quite nice underneath. The dress is made in the USA by Whish and is a great value at $110.
